SHORE LEAGUE RULES

Catch,measure and release.
All fish over 20cm count.
Silver eels have a set size of 30cm (providing they meet minimum 20cm)
No half cms. Round DOWN to nearest cm.
When fish is caught, take it to the nearset club member. They will witness the measure and sign match sheet.
If a good fish is caught take it to the captain for weighing.
Any fish kept for eating MUST be over local fisheries landing size.


2 hooks only
Pennell rig count as 2 hooks
Pre-baited rigs allowed

Match duration set by captain
Match boundaries set by captain
NO fishing before allocated time.

Sensible casting off piers and promenades please.
Check behind when casting.
Please use appropriate shock leaders. 4oz-40lb,5oz-50lb,6oz-60lb
carry this through onto end rigs.

All match sheets to be fully filled in (name and total length) and handed to the captain at the end of the match(even if nothing has been caught)
if you turn up and blank,1 point.
5 best results out of 6 count (this allows for a bad day).
