Mersey Anglers open, Otterspool sat 5/6/10

Me and Les fished this yesterday. Unfortunatly our pegs let us down and we only had a handfull of fish each!. Thats our excuse and we're sticking to it. Some anglers forged ahead catching decent numbers of fish while anglers fishing exactly the same, next peg, struggled. Its that kind of venue. Eels, flounders,whiting, codling, rays, rockling and a solitary scorpion fish came out. Peeler crab was the best bait. 30 plus anglers turned out. Winner was ex sefton member Joe Perry who had 957cm on the very end peg towards the Brittania pub. Well done Joe.
