Alex wall 17/2/13

Hello all, 15 members turned out for this clubmans match at the popular Alex wall venue. With fishing always slow at this time of the year it was hoped the deep water mark would hold fish. Within minutes of casting in , Steve Trish and Tony Williams reeled in dabs to prove that fish were around . The fishing did prove slow however with mostly dabs coming out sporadically. Baits were mostly black tipped off with squid shellfish or mackerel cast at various distances thanks to all the members who turned up and supported the event.

A nice days fishing, made even better by having my winnings turn up in a Birthday Card Thanks to everyone who signed it, very much appreciated lads....now I'm just off to book a SAGA holiday!!!!!
