excellent kev Laughing i think some of the pirates are going to keep going as they are allbeit as a smaller club. Thats the 2nd time there has been a major split at the pirates , with the first split forming the Buccs I think a lot of clubs have splits and disband due to bad management , backstabbing, petty jealousies, personality clashes and non -participation. Can name quite a few over the years, wirral rodbenders and the 624sac spring to mind. The problem with clubs are that each member wants something different from the club, BUT i think every member wants a fair set of rules that are democratic and with a transparent policy when it comes to finances and club constitution. I think that our club has that .

Spoke with Eddie (polsaf sec.) last night. Pheonix have already Formed and want to join Polsaf, but have to go through the 5 step affiliation process Eddie will now check about dock pass's and see if they can just switch from the Pirates to Pheonix without re-paying.

Heard through the grapevine that the mersey pirates went into total meltdown last night with the commitee handing members a share of the club money and then walking out. Think a few members stayed but a lot are forming a new club called the Pheonix sac. Heard it was down to clashes of personality non participation etc etc all the usual crap that happens within a club. Had a few mates within that club and some of the stuff they told that was going on was a recipe for disaster.
