| We're always at the mercy of the weather unfortunately. How about having weekend 5th/6th Nov as rearranged date for last weekend Keith?
Cheers Martin

| Subject: poss pleasure bash 5 november only... October 24th 2011, 22:22 | |
| Hi Martin already thought of that,, but with it being bonfire night on the sat, i thought people might find it difficult to get away from family comitments... however,, if some of us want to make it a pleasure bash on the saturday only, we could have a little side bet for each boat of say a case of beer each boat and have either a species hunt or biggest cod or skate on the day for the main event,,, that way the sat night is free for family commitments and no one has to get up early on the sunday morning if going to a bonfire party the night before,,,i throw it open to the club,, would anyone like to fish the saturday only for a pleasure bash? lf there are enough takers i am game! over to you.. tight lines keith | |

| I don't think we can afford to miss an opportunity if the weather's looking good we ought to get out. My missus has already issued a formal "use it or lose it" ultimatum regarding the boat - she wants a conservatory and we all know who wears the trousers in our house! So I'm defo up for it as I don't get hangovers (I just have to keep off the red wine or my legs don't work!) - I'm happy to fish Saturday and/or Sunday if the weather permits and if Tim's up for it. The pool's a good idea, I know where I can get loads of that fine Tesco Value beer dead cheap! :-) ... or should we just make it a £5 a man/£10 a boat? | |

| ah martin, now we get to the real story,, the Use It or Lose It tale!!! well thats great by me, as many times as we can get out is fine by me,,,,,will fish Sat.5th .either £10 a boat or just a case of beer per boat will do,, its up to everyone what we fish for, so lets have a vote, a/ biggest cod b/ biggest skate on the day c/ species hunt with the greatest number the winner.. You are right, we have to get out whenever the weather allows us to, even for just a few hours, so lets see how many we can get out over this winter period,,, the more the merrier as far as i am concerned....lets see if we can get ALL THE CLUB BOATS OUT for at least ONE OUTING this winter...over to you boys...... | |

| As the cod should be well in, I'd like to try and go for them. So my vote's for the biggest single cod or biggest bag of cod, however I'm more than happy to go with the flow. As for the pool I'd prefer £5 per man but again I'm happy to conform with the majority. I just can't wait to get out. I've even resorted to viewing some old fishing porn while the wife was not around, Boat Angler and Sea Angler from years ago. - As the Captain says, lets try and have a good turnout from the club, you know you can't beat getting up before first light on a nice fresh autumn morn, to be greeted by a deserted beach, sea like a mill pond and the sun just beginning to make an appearance in East.... - I'm gonna have to leave them mags alone! | |

| Hi Martin will discuss it with the other boat owners at the next meetiing, but how about we use the sat 5th for the Cod Cup? 1 off match and its out the way then? just a thought but it would free up some dates later in the winter calender....will make a decision after the next meeting...tides are good so we could fish 8am till 2pm,, single biggest fish wins,,,, if you want a side bet on the day ask the lads and see what they think.... .keith | |

| I'm more than happy to go along with that Keith, just be glad to get out but as you say if it helps put one of our match commitments out the way too, so much the better. Just hope the weather plays ball now. | |
