Fishing this weekend sat 23rd or sunday 24 January 2010

please not that the times are altered slightly.....fishing is 8.30 am to 2.30pm.....and not 8 till 2 as i originally quoted....please call me on friday night if you are fishing saturday......and saturday if you are fishing sunday,,,,League match round 4.....3 biggest whiting and 3 biggest cod (dont laugh) all fish must be insize, no undersize fish to count......thanks (sorry for the rant yesterday. was having a tw*t of a day, i apologise! ) keith

sorry Kieth still having problems with starting engine waiting for workshop manual have tried cleaning carb and draining system,also new plugs still no joy ,have a great day see u soon

fishing was carp,,,,dead foggy, no fish, 3 out of 4 boats BLANKED.....Josam (martin and tim) won woth 2 cod totalling 6.8lb... the blankers were; SIMPLY WHITE.SEARAIDER AND JEDI.....NEVER known the fishing to be so carp,,,,where have all the fish gone? never even had any undersize whiting.
!. cold and miserable and NO FISH...........CONGRATS TO JOSAM, pants to the rest of us...

does anyone know if the RNLI do courses on maintaining outboard engines or problem solving ?

Thanks boys, yes it certainly was a very poor day, we only had the two bites and luckily landed the two codling but it was poop! - Even the crabs weren't bothering with the mackerel I had out for whiting!

Had a bit of a mare getting my boat ready hence the late showing. It was the first time the boat had moved since September and the trailer breaks were stuck solid... and one of the engine batteries was goosed... and the bung had swollen up and wouldn't go back in (no not Tim's arse, the boat)...an..an it was dark... blah, blah, blah :-)

Anyway hopefully we'll be out again in a couple of weeks so let's hope for better luck next time.

well done tim and martin, me and ronnie fished sunday and monday both days 11 hours mainly dabs but slow to say the least, 12 pound cod on one of the charters got told the guy had size 1-0 hook and a one inch piece of lug he was after whiting the cod did not put any fight up but swam to the surface where it was netted as soon as it was in the net the hook fell out,shows if your luck is in anything can happen
