Hi guys, Eric and I got down to the P.T.U (police training unit) on a really cold and snowy night early just to get a nice warm speck, sat there for 15mins only to be informed all the other guys where sitting in a nice warm room in the police office No Anyway got there just as the meeting was about to start. Again the meeting was well attended by the Polsaf reps. Meeting started about 8-10.

1. Ian opened the meeting and informed the reps off where we are up to with Peel and Fish Legal. Basically Peel are very slow passing on information to Fish Legal. So this is slowing the process down before the meeting Peel, Polsaf and Fish Legal will have. Still no date. Ian also informed the reps the solicitor for Fish Legal only works 3 days a week Rolling Eyes

2. Polsaf have now paid its insurance to the Angling Trust.

3. Ian also informed the reps he was also Hoping to have a meeting with John Dent (Health and Safety Officer i think) about Fishing the Sandon.

4. Eddie (Polsaf Sec.) informed the reps that due to his work he felt he was letting Polsaf down by not responding to the likes of returning e-mails quicker being slow dealing with dock pass issue's etc. he was also thinking about stepping down at the A.G.M. So to help Eddie out it was decided to split his position and have a Members Sec. to deal with the likes of dock pass's. Eddie has the full backing off all the Polsaf reps.

5. The old Polsaf web site is to be closed down and taken off the web all together. Our New site is www.polsaf.info.

6 The date for the A.G.M is April 11th 2013.

A.O.B. One of the reps said about a few anglers fishing from off the rocks on the Council side by Seaforth beach when a couple of police or security officers came along and tried to chase them off. After some arguing the anglers left. As this part of the Rocks is Outside of (Peels Fence) and Health and Safety Regulations surely its up to the Sefton Council to stop Anglers Fishing there? Polsaf will look into this.

As I've said before Ian Polsaf chairman and Eric Thompson Polsaf Treasurer will be stepping down at the A.G.M. we will be looking for someone to take up these positions, if anyone is willing to put their names forward for these positions please do.

As this was a short meeting due to the weather the meeting closed at 9 10 approx.

P.S. On the way into the meeting bumped into Mike Chandler the I.S.P.S. officer and had a quick word with him about the New Pass's. WE will keep the New Pass's with the New Number's on them, But will have to sort the Blue car Pass's out. Mike came into the meeting and gave a brief statement about the mix up and also apologized for the mix up.

P.P.S. on the way out called in to see Mike and get the pass's back, he sorted out the 3 wrong cards plus 1 other card. also arranged a time for new members pass, will give details out on Monday.

Cheer's Tony
