The island

decided on fishing the island last week for a change, venue was to be ty croes got there a coupleof hours before high and then set up 1 rod each loaded with big baits and waited and waited then we had a load of taps but these were only small fish

went down to small hooks to see what was about and we ended up with loads of pin whiting , small pollock, couple of doggies, and about 10 dabs





on are last cast at ty croes mi dad pulled in this


due to the fishing beeing poor we changed venue and headed over to cable bay for a couple of hours

first cast for me and in this came :dance: :dance:



after that it was more doggies so we called it a night and headed home

Well in Ben, good fish this time of year. Wont be fishing this weekend mate, had loads of work piled on us so i'll be burning my trowel out setting brick. Loadsa money!

i had a look at the tide and it was a 9.06m tide, cant see how you could hold bottom at otterspool with that tide, gave it a miss my self
