| After blanking on the last four outings, three of us ( John D,our kid and me)decided to give Bromborough a try.Arrived two hours before high, nothing taken until just before high, just small whiting for us all, then as the tide turned, my rod was pulled out of the rest, I just thought it was weed, reeled in to find a thornie on the end,Mr Doyle hand balled it up on to the walll,Ihad foul hooked it in the wing Got some stick from him and our kid but I didnt care, weighed it at 5.5lbs and returned it.Just nice seeing something cought for a change. | |
