NWASAC Personal Members , Dock wall

Pm's secretary, Richie Burrows decided to put a non - league match on the alex dock wall today, hoping that the thornbacks would be there. Due to there being a big match on at Holyhead Breakwater, numbers were down to 6 members.We had the wall to ourselves and spread out along it. We fished it from noon till 5 and the fishing was dissapointing . We fished to an 18 cm lenght to weight conversion system and only had 6 sizeable fish, 4 thornbacks, 1 whiting and 1 flounder. Biggest thornie was about 4 and a half pound the other 3 were around 1-2 pound. 3 of them came on the first of the ebb tide including 2on the last cast

Peeler crab tipped with squid was the best bait. CRABS very active stripping baits. Anyone else been out? good or bad?
