Hi Folks, just quick heads up about Flint Cob. Was down there this evening with the dog, and came across a sign, with a plan nailed to a tree. This is just where you start to walk along the top of the bank to access the the fishing.
Sign Read-
CAUTION
Be aware that a temporary closure will be in place on this section of public footpath from 31/05/2013 due to essential works by Alun Griffiths Ltd on behalf of Network Rail
An alternative route will be signposted onsite bearer the closure date.
Flintshire County Council Bla Bla
The Plan shows it will block the footpath right along to Bagillt Station.
No problem for a few Anglers, but if you good people know of a Match being planned here, let them know.
I'm down there with the dog nearly every day, so can keep posted.
Thanks Folks, Andy

Quick update Folks, been down the Cob this evening, and the fencing has now gone, so it's accessible again, took some pictures, but it was nearly dark, so not sure they'll be good, but if they are any good, I'll post them.. The access path to the Cob, is now extended along the top of the bank, so even easier to get along to the marks, but you will be fishing on the stones, similar to Mostyn...
Thanks, Andy
