Hello All. 11 members and a young guest turned out for our latest clubmans match at the consistent New Brighton venue. Hope s were high after the decent session we had on the Alex Wednesday. With the massive snowfall on Friday I had a doubt in my mind if it would fish well. We set up and lines were in at 14.30. It was slow to start , but our guest, 8 year old Aaron Robinson, showe us how to do it by landing two fish in rapid succession. a few fish started to come but some lads were struggling to find any fish at all. A move might have been a wise tactic. As the tide turned and the darkness fell the fishing picked up a bit, not as hectic as this venue can be but good for the time of year. Tony Williams, Alan Green, Aaron Robinson, and myself were catching quite well by the buoy while to the normally prolific right of the venue fish were scarce. Lines in we're called at 18.30.
