the Mersey today

we decided to give the fishing ago today we locked out at 12-30 ,2 hours before high we locked back in around 3-45 about 3.5 hours fishing the wind had eased a bit overnight but it rained none stop for the whole time,the fishing was not to bad 4 on board we had cod, whiting, and flatties we where anchored about 500 yards from the marina lock in about 30 feet of water loads of fish but we only kept 7 the biggest was 8.5 pounds not a bad end to what has been for me a great year

had a talk to a couple of charter boats when we where locking out the where coming in they had been out since 4 this morning the most they had was 17 cod that was discovery

well in dave and co.. superb fish, you have had some good ones this year when you have got out,,some good fillets off that one! well in again....keith

Dave /Ronnie, congrats on getting out looks like the fish are still about and you are catching, hopefully the weather is in our favour for next saturday for our club match, one can only hope
