the mersey today 16-12-12

we fished one and half hours each side of high tide today 4 on board, after all the rain on friday we where not expecting any thing exciting and we where right quite a few bites but only 2 coddling one abour 3.5 the other about 3 pounds, if it stays dry it should start fishing again around wednesday, it was a very big tide and it was steaming through it was a struggle to get back into the lock we had to go in at an angle across the tide and it was lumpy with it

At least you got out and had a go.
