Hi Guy's, Polsaf held its A.G.M. last night 26/4/12 the meeting was well attended. As no one was willing to volunteer for the Chair's Position Ian Mckay put his name forward and was elected. As Ian stated Polsaf needs someone to help Eddie out with the ongoing concerns with Peel and the road ahead looks rocky.
Polsaf Committee :
Ian Mckay Chairman.
Eddie Daley Sec.
Eric Thompson Tres.
Donna Hollet Minutes Sec.
As Ian is now chairman and not (acting Chair ) he gave an up to date report on where we stood regarding the Sandon Dock and Seaforth Rocks. Due to the total lack of response from Peel from the phone calls and e-mails he and Eddie had done. A letter was sent to Fish Legal on behave of Polsaf pointing out our views and Lack of Communication from Peel regarding the above plus the way anglers have been treated since the Forming of Polsaf. Fish Legal sent a letter to Peel expressing our concerns and the way they treat anglers Now and in the Past plus a copy of the letter to Ian. Ian received the letter early last week and still no response From Peel. Polsaf will now wait to see what reaction Peel will have to this?..
The lad who had the Heart attack: although Polsaf know his name and his club when Polsaf contacted the Port Police to find out the circumstances they said that "they can not give out information due to confidentiality" but will have his dock pass taken away!!! Polsaf will argue this!!!
A.O.B. It was reported that at a Bucc's. match an angler tried to cast a 6oz weight on a 15lb rig attached to 60lb shock leader, needless to say how stupid that was, no one injured but we should all know the rules on casting. 6oz x 10lb =60lb shocky and 60lb rig body.
Meeting closed 9 20
