Hi Guys, Polsaf had its meeting last night Sep. 27th. The meeting was well attended by the club Reps, and the reps from Southport were welcomed. Passed the dock re-newels to Eddie the Polsaf Sec.
The meeting started at 8 o'clock.
1, Had a brief discussion on the Fur n Feather, but this was put back to later in the meeting.
2. Ian informed the meeting of where we were up to with Peel Ports. Ian read out letter's he had received from Peels legal side and from Our Legal side (Fish Legal) Needless to say that this discussion went on for some time with a lot of the reps putting their views forward. Ian took on board what the reps said, and will pass on to Our Legal Side to see if WE can make any progress with Peel about Fishing the Mersey area's.
3. Paid Eric the £25 Polsaf re affiliation fee.
4. The Fur n Feather has now been moved to the 3rd and 4th of November, again this was well discussed. Due to the lack of input Halton will now organise this match and how it will be run over the two days. As the match (might) only be at the Alex, their might be a limited number who can fish it?( So will take names at Monday's meeting from those who wish to fish it) and pass them on, the match entrance fee will be £7 as usual, as it is only a few weeks away the prizes will all be Money Prizes. Polsaf will put £200 into the kitty (£100) per day. Halton will work out what the prize money will be for each day depending on what the numbers will be on the day. As we said at the meeting, we know this might clash with other matches that weekend but its up to the individual witch match they wish to fish. As usual it will be measure and release match. Halton will put the match rules and other information needed for the match on the Polsaf web site.
5. As the Fur n Feather is only a few weeks away it was decided to hold another meeting on the 18th of October, so Halton can inform all the reps, who then, can inform their club member's what will be happening over that weekend and how it will be run.
Meeting closed at 10 o'clock
