Pms round 4 , Otterspool ,sunday 10/4/11

Hello lads, 6 members of the club fished this match with the traditionally peggy venue throwing up various results but fishing very well for the time of year. It fished as i thought it would (See Preparation post) Fresh crab was essential as was a decent draw !We all caught . Codling were the predominite species including some nice ones of up too 48cm.Eels flounder, plaice whiting and a solitary dog came in. Mark Allanson got off to a flier as did Ben Harrison catching well in the first hour . Pete Harrison And Colin Nevitts caught but were not on the best pegs and struggled to find the fish in great numbers. Les And Myself were catching at a steady pace. I did well at the start catching 4 codling in the first half hour but then had to cast around to find the fish again. I Continued catching steadily eventually casting further out to stay in touch with the fish on the early ebb. The front runners in my zone had all caught afew eels which gave them greater lenght , but try as i might i couldnt connect with one. I did the best out of the sefton lads coming 5th in my zone and 10th (out of 41) overall. My final tally was 15 codling for 369cm. The scenery was spectacular too! all kinds walking ang jogging along the prom

Not too sure of the lenghts so will posts them when i find out

ended up with 311 at the end, not to happy with it though. found it hard after the first hour and half

not seen it yet but dont take them on, to many people on there that think they are better than everyone else

just looked and cant see anything on the site it has prob been deleted of there
