Hall Road 27th Feb 2009.

Three of us fished the mecca of Merseyside sea fishing, Hall Road, this morning,Charlie B. me and John Doyle.John and I arrived late,Charlie was already fishing and had a rockling before we arrived(or so he said )
Any way,there was a strong onshore wind blowing,we ended the session,with Charlie getting two rockling and a monster sized Dab,Me and John blanked :A guy further up from us had what looked like a fair sized flounder.and a smaller one.Not one of my favourite spots this place.I wonder why.

Just shows how easy it is to satisfy Charlie. The smile on his face holding a tiny tiny undersize dab says it all.
I wonder what his face would have been like if he had caught a dab like Mattys at Hightown. Perhaps he would have been so elated that he would have bought a round of drinks at the next club meeting.!!!!

well in mark glad you spotted that i knew it was a flounder but a nosy person nothing to do all day had to come over put his two pence worth in an also sead it was a dab then i realised hes only learning it wasnt a smile i was breakingwind (trying to get nosy parker to go away and let us enjoy our selves)
