Otterspool was the venue chosen to fish our annual top 30 final.
The finalist were the top 30 scorers after 5 matches.
After a very bitterly cold week a 5.5 hr match was not something I was looking forward to but I awoke to a pleasant, calm morning, not a breath of wind and even the sun managed to smile.
Fishing was very very slow with only Mark Allanson & Bill Lindfield catching a small cod each in the first 2 hrs. Rockling started to show and finally the Whiting.
An hr before high Ian Griffiths caught a 4lb Cod the largest fish of the day.
We fished 2 zones and paid out top 6 places continental style, weight calculation.
