fished the mersey yesterday myself, ronnie , and steve, we fished on steves boat, lovelly day sun shinning got sun burnt that was the good part, for the first 3 hours the wind was with tide and blowing strong our idea was to fish the rockchannel we had no chance, after high water the wind died down but bye the time we got in the rockchannel the tide was well on its way out and there was not mutch water under our keel ,total for the day was 6 dogfish 1 dab 1 of us blanked but will not say who,seen a couple of charter boats punching the tide and wind headind out down the rockchannel wonder how they fared? lol! lol! lol!

hello Dave, you might have been better off by mariners wharf , rays where coming out a couple of weeks ago. Dont think many smoothies are about now Crying or Very sad
