Mariners,21/11/12

Alan Green and myself decided to have ago at the codling at Mariners yesterday. We got down there about two pm and it was packed already. We got a spot between the bullnose and the old cockle dock. We set up two rods each, one for codling and a multi hook rig for the whiting lug squid crab and Sandeel went out. we got some nice whiting and Alan got a codling about 2 pound. Another 2 came out on the bullnose as well as a 5 and a 3 towards the cockle dock. So they are about. A nice little session! Colin Nevvitts was down there with big Barry they caught some nice whiting too.
