finally out fishing

well boys,we finally got out on friday 11/7/08,,,just me and colin dreaves in Simply White,launched about 8.00am and fished the egg bouy in the mersey till about 2pm. We then went to the rock channell to fish the smoothie mark. Colin had a fish on within 5 mins but it took him under the boat. 0 mins later he hooked in to another one which weighed 14.10. ,,,nice fish,,,,,,,about half an hour later i hooked into one which turned out to be a starry smoothound of 10.11...a quick hour on this mark then back to shore....pretty cold miserable day but hey,at least we were fishing :
