The life jacket weve gone for is the baltic winner manual + harness it was from suffolk sailing tel no 01473 604678 cost £67.50 plus P+P, this one gets a very good write up not the cheapest and not the most expensive, hope this helps

| Thanks to you as well Keith for getting simon to do it. Im looking to get Ste Jnr one now. Offered to do some talks to the Chairman last night, he mentioned giving a quick talk about ray rigs seeing as there are so many in the river so will sort something for next meeting | |

| hi steve,, really glad you enjoyed it,, simon gave his time for free to help us all, for that i do thank him personally,,,,he condemmed my lifejacket... have had it for a while but never knew how to look after it properly... so he could have already saved my life,, cos if i had needed to use it, it would not have worked!!!! how grateful am i now.....me and colin have spent much of today trawling through the internet to order 2 new ones asap.... as simon said,,, you pay £150 plus for a rod and reel, yet wont spend £80 on something that WILL save your life...cant wait to get my new one now,, old one been binned... just glad someone apart from the Dinghy Lads enjoyed his talk,,, safety is for ALL members of the club, not just the boat lads....... cheers keith | |
