FISHING THIS WEEKEND 19 & 20 nOVEMBER

hi boys,,, tomorrow Sunday 20th is ON ON ON,,, Cookie will be captain of the day as Kingfisher is sitting this one out to give you all a head start in the winter league. ...launch 8am, back in for 2pm ( i might see you on the beach) give cookie a shout on the radio for a radio check,, biggest 3 cod and whiting,, no other fish to count,,,have a great day and stay safe,,, ps the wirral will be out tomorrow so the beach will be busy....thanks keith

3 Boats fished, Jedi ( cookie & Mrs Cooke ) Sea Raider ( roger & jimmy) and Blu Noze (andy & Pete)
river was chokker with small boats from the Wirral Small Boat club and lots of charter boats. lots of fish for all 3 boats straight from the off,,, species caught today were cod, whiting, dogs, dabs, skate and a 10lb conger eel by Andy on baited hokkias whilst fishing for whiting.. skate were everywhere as usual along with some good size whiting, but the codling were not playiing out for some of the boats..the results for the day was; 1st,, Blu Noze,, 3 cod and 3 whiting for 14lb = 12 points
2nd Jedi, 1 cod and 1 whiting for 4lb = 11 points
3rd Sea Raider, 3 whiting for 3.5lb = 10 points
Congratulations to Andy Robinson who had 1 cod for 7lb exactly,, it was a great fish and will make lots of Fish Fingers for Andys dog!... thanks to all 3 boats for taking part and i think they all deserved it.

Congrats to the 3 boats who fished unfortunately Kingfisher could not fish the Sunday and Saturday was blown off, looks like we will have to reel in some points to catch you boys
