Thanks for coming Chris, got to be in it to win it.13 stupid... sorry, tough anglers turned up to fish the alex. Weather was bad...... very bad , blowing about 40mph and rain thrown in for good measure. It was difficult to hold bottom for the first 45 mins with the wind blowing against tide, not much coming in . Eventually a few fish started coming in with Paul Brough landing a cracking dog of 3.0.0 ,70cm long. Whiting and dabs started to come in but not in any geat numbers. 12 anglers caught and crab, lug and mackerel were the best baits. best whiting fell to simon bounds at 31cm long while Phil Foster had a nice dab of 30 cm. Thanks to all who turned up.

Result
1st Mal Bell 9 whiting 222cm
2nd Paul Brough 1 dog 4 whiting 157cm
3rd Steve Trish 5 whiting 1 dab 132 cm
4th Mark Allanson 5 whiting 129cm
5th Martin Bleasedale 3 whiting 2 dabs 126cm
