summer league 1st leg

2 boats out today, jedi and sea raider,,, yet to see how they got on

tomorroww is also ON....fish 8am till 2pm,,,,tight lines,,,keith

3 boats fished sunday, Blue Noze, Dragonfly & Kingfisher,, on beach 7.15am,. weather cold and windy but the forecast said the wind would drop about noon and it did, sun out and then we all got a bit of a tan,,,Fishing not prolific but steady,,,Egg bouy produced nowt for Blue Noze. so they joined Kingfisher and Dragonfly on seaforth rocks...4 species caught there, then on to Rock Channel too see if the plaice were about , to no avail,,,
Results,,,,Joint 1st with 4 species, Sea Raider & Kingfisher,, Joint 2nd with 3 species Jedi & Dragonfly and bringing up the rear (ooerrr misssus) is Blue Noze with 2 species...Great day out and fairly flat sea,,, lots of skate and very big dabs,, loads of pin whiting and small undersize codling,a couple of dogfish on the rocks added to our score.
Was a shame to come in for 2 o clock, pity we couldnt have stayed out any longer,,,, (will consider doing this next time if the tide allows us to)...

just been look at website for MY WAY out of Holyhead and they were catching tope /spurdog and s moothhound also bullhuss in plenty on Saturday so should be in our areas soon

lots of fish and a really nice day,, what more can you ask for? lets hope the rest of the summer is the same,,,, nice to fish without it being -4 degrees c...it was a really nice day out....

Back home, good report Keith well done to all that fished, had a little go in Gibraltar, not a bad hours float fishing plenty lost but plenty caught only small but OK. Tim.

the locals like to fish for mullet close in to dockyard walls some big ones around gib also octopus and conger off the rocks - did u go to Charlies bar and the Angry Friar - god i loved that pissup mate

Can only reiterate what Keith has said - weather couldn't be any better and all of us got fish on our boat (makes a change Richie!!!), hopefully bodes well for the rest of the summer, Pete
