| Hi 3 boats fished sunday 13 March,,Kingfisher, Blu Noze and a rare visit from our Chairman on Hunter 2. We launched at 8am and the weather was poo, very cold and drizzly..after waiting round for Blu Noze to finally launch we all set off for the final match of the season..Blu Nose headed up river to their secret mark, Hunter 2 to the Eaglet and Kingfisher to the clock tower.. Fishing was very slow,, Blu Noze secret mark was plop,, no bites and no fish, they eventually joined us at the clock tower where Richie finally broke his duck and caught a fish on their new boat (undersize but a fish anyway)..Mr Chairman tried the Pluckington bank then eventually seaforth rocks,,again to no avail,,meanwhile Kingfisher had 6 fish, only 3 insize for a total of 4lb 02oz.(the sun came out about noon and i was fishing in a t shirt!.).so only we weighed in...12points to us.....none for Blu Noze, who if they had weighed in 1 solitary in size fish, would have given them 2nd in the Winter League...never mind..note to Blu Nozel,, MUST TRY HARDER!!!!!! overall results are; 1st and Winner of the Winter League with 48 points is Kingfisher,,,,4 matches fished and maximum points on every one!....2nd was Sea Raider with 30 points....well done Roger and Jimmy... Thanks again to alll the boats who took part,,Jedi,Josam,Dragonfly,Hunter2,Sea Raider and of course Kingfisher, it was a hard season but 4 matches out of six fished was better than last year.. Special Thanks again to Colin Cooke for all his help and advice given throughout the year,,without him it would be a much harder job...best wishes also to the crew of Blu Noze,Richie, Andy & Pete, new boat new adventures and i am sure they will push us again for the future.. it would be nice to see a few more boats in the club, but as the costs keep rising year by year its hard to see...lets hope the summer is not too far away, sick of freezing cold temperatures and slow fishing..... tight lines to all,,,,,,keith

| Good report Keith. Thanks for your work this winter for the small boats. Hope both the fishing and numbers participating increases for the summer season. Not a good cod season. May be better next winter with a few big ones. No reason why we cant give it a few evenings from Hall road for the BASS. Looking forward to it. Steve | |

| Keith, Colin congrats, well done it can be a hard season as we all know on the small boats its all wright for the larger boat to have a go but we have to make a living and don't go out every day if we did there would be no fish in the river, again well done there is always the Summer league . Tim/Martin. | |

| Keith/Colin, Congratulations on winning the winter league, you both have earned it. Lets hope on having a good summer and a lot more days out, and hopefully with keith as our club skipper for the next year as he has done a great job. All the best for the future and be safe.
