8H today 7am to 15pm, light rain, cloudy then sunny. Pleasant day Smile Crap Fishing. Sad
9 of us from work. Mixed group experience anglers & beginers
2 Codling (1 undersize & 1 2lb)
3 dabs
After the initial early catch of the 2 codling on the Ebbing tide we went Dab bashing just pass Perch Rock very poor only 1 dab.
Move back to Town Hall stair got another 1 then we move up to Custom House to catch the incoming tide where we caught the last dab.
Very poor fishing, no wonder all Welsch Charter boat went back home early.
Anyway got a bit of suntan too Very Happy cheers

Should go fishing with you Dave you seems to know where the fishes hide Wink

But if you want to use your camera in bad weather on the cheap you need :

- 1 strong large clear plastic bag

- 1 U/V filter the size of the lens you use

- 1 cheap second hand filter or just ring of the above diametre the glass filter will be remove from it

Cut a hole smaller than the diameter of the filters on 1 side of the bag, right in the middle as near as the bottom of the bag. Stech the hole to fit between the 2 filters and screw them together (the u/v filter on the outside side of the sandwich). Taylor the bag to fit above your head & shoulders. You can also use a cheap Cokin type filter holder and adapt the bag to fit on it, depends if you use more than 1 lens.

Et voila, no more excuses for not taking photos lol!

i could use the camera pointing out through the cabin door, its not that its an expensive one but sooner not bother when having to hold on with one hand, did try and get a picture of the shate but it was back overboard before i clicked, you dropped anchor just behind us and moved just as the tide started to run in, do not know why he moved then apart from the fact he was a bit close to us but plenty of fish there
