Well done Tony, getting the minutes on here before they are on the official Polsaf website. Did anyone express any interest in the chair or secretaries position? A change of faces and ideas can be a good thing but some continuity and experiance would be good for the federation.. Hopefully the outgoing officers will show the incoming ones the ropes to ensure a smooth crossover. Lets hope we get someone who knows whats happening in the local fishing scene and gets on with the job.

Chairman opened the meeting and welcomed a good turnout.
Apologies from Southport SAC and Halton SAC.

Amanda Neech is to leave her post as I.S.P.S. officer at the end of March. Those duties will then be taken up by Paul Martin. The whole of the POLSAF committee expressed their thanks to Amanda for a job well done, with a friendly and accommodating attitude.
Paul is a serving Police Officer and will be issuing Pass'es in addition to his other duties. The committee thanked Paul for taking the time to come and introduce himself and we look forward to a friendly relationship with the new Pass Officer.

After some discussion and explanation of the Fur and Feather match, and subsequent comments posted on the Forum, it was generally agreed that the Format of the match will be reviewed during the coming months. It was further agreed that the Moderator's of the Forum should use their power to Delete Offensive Post and if Necessary Remove Member's from the Forum.

It was put to the meeting that POLSAF should consider taking out Indemnity Insurance to Safeguard the Interest of the Federation. The committee will investigate both the Need for, and the cost of such Insurence.

The provision of Lifebelts has been raised several times with Peel Ports, and although it Was Stated in the Original Agreement that " Adequate Lifebelts would BE Provided" as yet They Have NOT. It was proposed that POLSAF purchase and install lifebelts on the area's we fish. The Practicalities and even the Legalities of such a proposition need to be investigated. The committee will make Enquirie's.

Three new clubs have applied for Affiliation, they are: Milnrow SAC, Alliance and Leicester SAC and Holy Angels SAC, all 3 were accepted.

Nominations were Invited for the Positions of Chairman and Secretary which will become vacant at the A.G.M as both are stepping down.

Fund raising was discussed and invited, one possibility was the sale of Tide Tables.

Date of the A.G.M was set as 14th April 8-00p.m. in the Training Room's.

Chairman thanked all those Attending and closed the meeting at 9-45.
