Best, most consistant mark on the Mersey. Sizeable whiting and rays coming in there. Perfect size tide for that venue

Hi mate
Perch Rock
fish from 3 hrs before low water, head towards the green bouy and line yourself in-between the bouy and
lighthouse.
5-6 oz grip weight with either a pennel rig baited with a sandeel/squid wrap for the rays or a 2 hook flapper
with lug/mackerel or crab (if you can get any) for whiting and dabs.
cast as far as you can.
there should be a few anglers fishing on saturday as its fishing quite well at the moment
have fun
Mark

I'm thinking about fishing Perch Rock on Saturday I've never fished it before, the tide is 1.6 meters is this o.k. Also can you please tell me which is the best bait to take with me.

thanks
paulh
