Mariners/Coburg 4/12/09

Decided to use some old bait I had left over from our fur n feather match,and fish down by the Marina.fished 2hrs up to high water and half an hour down.Thought I would give it a try on the prom first, just before the vat building,first hour there, produced only one whiting of 28cm,

Very few bites there,so moved up to the knuckle by the Cockle Hole,into fish straight from the off,but at distance.
In total I had 9 whiting ranging from 21cm to 38cm.So not too bad a session,considering the state of my bait.

Not a single charter boat to be seen,says it all really.

Perfect day for being on a boat as well.
