Small Boat Winter League Leg 3--19th March 2016.Result.

5 boats fished the final leg of our winter league matches.
Weather was o k with a light easterly breeze.
The river mersey fished very well,with all boats catching cod,also whiting.

1st Hunter 2 with a total bag weight of 16LB-8oz.
2nd Sea-Raider ......................... 10LB-8oz.
3rd Kingfisher ........................ 10LB-6oz.
4th Jedi ....................... 10LB_4oz.
5th Josam ........................ 6LB-8oz.

Three cod caught over 6LB on the day.
Best on the day a cod of 6LB-12oz.
Over the three matches fished ,the winner of the winter league is Kingfisher.

The cod catches this winter has been very good.
The first leg of the summer league is 2nd April. More info to follow.
