Fished here yesterday two matches in 1 Wirral sea fishing summer league and Blackpool and Leyton angling society , both with different formats which makes things difficult knowing what to do for best. Anyway the fishing was dire to day the least , i won the war match with 2 flounders for 68 cm and was 2nd in. The blas match with 2 flounders and an eel for 98cm. Fish took crab , plenty of tiny pin whiting . Most of the lads fished for rays and none came in . Everywhere seems to be in the summer doldrums.
Thinking of hitting Mariners in search of some sole on Tuesday evening if anyone is interested.
