Pleasure Bash 10th February 2014 On the river Mersey

With the comp being called off at the weekend (good call Keith) and the forcast for monday ok .Launched New Brighten late morning.
Light southerly wind ,dropping all the time.Like a mill pond in the afternoon.
Fishing was a bit slow to start.After a couple of moves we started catching. Codling,Whiting,Dabs.
Had 5 codling best weighed 5lb-6oz down to 3lb-8oz     
plenty of whiting with 4 over 30cm
Just the odd Dab.
Back on N -B beach one of the Wirral S Boats caught 14 codling all around the 4 lb mark.
So lads they are there,just need a respite from these gales.

hi jimmy im eric that came over to you, some nice fish you had, and god was that water flat calm   seen ginger cat from the wirral with there fish on the slip, looked like a good days fishing.
