i`ll have some of you have been smoking please Very Happy well in,,,i totally agree,, 3 weeks easterly winds and the fishing both shore and boat has been dire,, good poem though,,,keith

Hi Guys a follow on to the chat last night about the way the wind effects our fishing. The mrs got a book about a Trawler village in the late 1800's and on the pre-face was this poem... Laughing


When the wind is in the East
Then the Fishes bite the Least,
When the wind is in the West
Then the Fishes Bite the Best,
When the Wind is in the North
Then the Fishes Do come Forth,
When the wind is in the South
It Blows the Bait in the fishes Mouth.
