Borth 2nd June
not a great day's fishing, compensated by the weather which was nice.
arrived at Borth late after some roadworks to be greeted by dolphins working the surf line attacking Bass probably
anyway they didny stay long, they moved down the beach following the fish i guess.
fishing was quiet with planty of kelp coming in, John Patterson had the first Bass, Jon had a Flounder, Mal Allanson managed to lose a small eyed ray in the surf
I concentrated on close in with maddies and prawn with no joy, after ages i switched to crab and got a Bass instantly, after missing a few bites i managed to get another followed by 3 flounders, meanwhile Martin was struggling and Phil was collecting weed by the tonne
Martin started to get a few undersize fish including a lovely Brill, followed by some insize Flounder. Started to rain towards the end.
Journey back uneventfull.
