Hi guy's here's a brief summary from last nights Polsaf meeting,
The meeting was well attended (18-20) club reps. Due to the fact we don't have a chair/person Ian stepped in to chair the meeting.
1. As Eddie (polsaf sec.) is really busy dealing with the I.S.P.S. and dock pass'es it was decided to elect some one to help him, Donna from the Bucc's was elected as Minutes Sec.
2. Accident at the Sandon Dock, the angler reported his fall to the dock security and this was passed on to the port's Health and Safety. The H/S got in touch with Ian and took him down the area to inspect where the accident happened. This has now been repaired but we are still not allowed to fish at the Sandon. Ian said he will try and find out when we can, in the next few days. The angler from Dalton S.A.C. was not serious injured but received some small cuts and bruises (ouch).
3. Treasurer. Eric was really busy with reaffiliation and affiliation from clubs and private member's.
4. Fur n Feather, this was discussed with lads from Dalton S.A.C. the date was set for Dec 17/18th. arrangement's will have to wait till we find out about the Sandon Dock. Will have to see how many want to fish the fur n feather so arrangements can be made, if we can only fish the Alex.(will take names from club members who want to fish and pass on the Numbers to Polsaf).
P.O.L.S.A.F. Have put £500 into the kitty (£250) for each day, for prizes. The Pools was also talked about and the fish sizes etc. (will put the full fur n feather rules on site when I get the full minutes from eddie/donna).
A.O.B. It was put forward about electing a new chair, anyone who wishes to put their name forward for this position (from any affiliated club or private member) are welcome to do so.
Eddie also said about the new passes for 2012, hopefully in the next couple of weeks. Meeting closed 9.35.
will take names for the polsaf fur and feather on Monday. so come come on lads put the word out to those not on the web so we have a good turn out on the DOCKS (make it better than last year)
Cheer's Tony.
