penn club league

With May the start of the Penn Club League began.
So A little late we started our defense of the first year title win for us
at Perch Rock 17/5/10

arrived at the Perch in glorious sunshine and minimal wind,
after the short walk we started and the fish came from the off,
with dabs and whiting the main stay of species as usual for the
regions most consistant venue.
The fish became scarce after low water causing the early
leader Steve Trish to start sweating a bit
Both Steve and Mark lost the fish for the last hour while Les kept them coming
overtaking Mark and just narrowly losing to Steve in a tense last few casts.

1st Steve Trish 13 fish for 328cms 5 points
2nd Les Trish 13 fish for 323cms 4 points
3rd Mark Allanson 9 fish for 223cms 3 points
4th Phil foster 9 fish for 220cms 2 points
5th Keith Gray 9 fish for 212cms 1 points

with everyone catching a great evening was had by everyone.
