Mersey boat trip 9/2/10

Four of us fished the river yesterday for 11 hours,just three small codling to show for all our efforts,gruelling to say the least.
started off by the rocks at seaforth,gave it a go for a few hours,nothing at all ,not even a nibble.

We then moved up to the clock tower,that's were we had the 3 codling.the last few hours we spent on the pluckerton bank opposite the VAT building,not a bite there as well.no sign of any crabs at all.really poor all round.

Best part of the day was the breakfast,we had around 10am, served up by the stand in chef on the day,Paul.Much appreciated mate

No other boats out with us,tells the story really.
Bitterly cold day as well with a northerly wind blowing.

We will be giving the boat trips a miss until the fishing improves.
