Hi Barney,
from Birkenhead, take the A41 past Lairds then the Rock Ferry bypass (A41) onto New Chester road (A41) follow the signs for Bromborough, take the first left after the sign for Bromborough Pool, this takes you onto Pool Lane(there is a hotel on the right) follow the road around and go onto Old Court House Road,at the next set of traffic lights, turn left onto Dock Road South,go straight down to the bottom and you will see a large gate in front of you, park your car to the right of the gate and walk through the opening at the side of the gate.carry on walking and you will see the river in front of you, fish anywhere to the right of the groyne.Watch out for the pot holes etc, some are covered by overgrown grass. Shocked
