 Mackerel in the bay?

ok keith we went out of rhyl last sunday i was fishing for mackerel most of the day ended up with about 8 probablly about the same as the rest of the boat so they are there but not in great numbers so you might struggle for bait for tope might be worth taking a box of squid see you at the club

Anyone know if the mackerel are in the bay yet? if so will the tope be in?
