River Alt 25/02/09

Five of us fished the Alt this morning,wind and rain made fishing a bit uncomfortable for a time.
Total fish count was 1 rockling and 5 flounders.Biggest flounder weighed 1lb 11oz and measured 42cm.The rest of the flounders were just below this size.Bait used was rag and mackeral.Will give this venue another visit,but on a smaller tide.Tide today was a bit big, a 25mph onshore wind didn't help either.
Most fish taken just before and just after high water.
