Formby 24/8/14

Fished for a few hours at Formby this morning , hoping for a bass. Conditions looked spot on but they were not having my baits! Still caught a couple of small flounders on rag and mackerel  on rolling leads. Weather was nice and it's a lovely beach to fish. Might go to Hall road tonight to use up worms.

Fished the night tide at hall road , had 5 flounders on ragworm, good result for there!

Well in Ste, But the bass still playing hard to get. But good to pick fish up at both venues, how were the gullies at Formby was there much lug around.

Kev Brindle was out early pumping but said it was hard going , plenty of gullies at Formby , if you are going out through the week let me know might fit a session in. Missed loads of bites at hall road, I was on 1 kamasans in case I hit a bass, should gave dropped to 4s , would have got a few more flats.
