Those dodgy scales of yours Keith, I forgot we had to take 1lb off! :-)

Sorted the electrics out, turned out to be a blown 20 amp fuse on the engine - the location of which makes it pretty hard to replace from within the boat. Not sure what caused it to blow in the first place mind but engine started up several times and trim and tilt working without problems so ok again for a fortnights time - might pack a rusty nail next time just in case! :-)

Lot of it about. I lost a good fish 5 yards out at otterspool , Sunday. It bent my afaw big beach over which is a stiff rod , could feel its head shaking and as Mark dropped the net and I tried to lift it to the surface , it shed the hook. Felt a really good fish . Gutted!

Best days fishing for a long while. I think everyone enjoyed getting out.
Weather perfect despite Tim trying to put the mockers on it.
Mainly wind with tide, flat calm and the sun in your face and catching fish. What more could you want?
The rod I had the 4lb 4oz cod on with the same drag setting hooked into another cod, it was nodding violently and taking a lot of line before I got snapped off!!!
There are definitely some big fish out there.
Roll on the next match. Who is going to get the big one.
Could be anyone's.
