PostSubject: Polsaf Brief Report   Polsaf Dock Pass's Icon_minitimeOctober 25th 2013, 18:11

Hi Guys, GREAT NEWS, at last: Laughing Polsaf held its meeting last night, again the meeting was only attended by the FEW but with an appearance of Mr J. Waugh (N. West) good to see you John Laughing the meeting started at 8 05

1, Alan (Polsaf Chair) gave the Few some Good News, after all the meeting's he and Donna (Polsaf Sec) had with Peel officer's They finally got a meeting with Peter Clark ( Head Officer). Alan in formed him off Our Grievance's about the way Peel had treated Polsaf. Alan showed Mr Clark all what Polsaf have done to ensure all Affiliated Clubs and Angler's stuck to the Rules and Agreement's made with Peel. Also how Polsaf was made up and run (our rules, Constitution, Insurance etc. ) Mr Clark seemed shocked at how Well Polsaf was Run.

So after several hour's of discussion, it was Agreed that the £20 would be for a 2 YEAR Pass (2014/15) it was also said that the new Pass will be a different colour also how Polsaf Pay for the Pass's (will explain this at our next meeting (if aloud Laughing ) )

Mr Clark also said to Alan and Donna that he would like to have other meeting's with them on a regular basis.

2, Polsaf Fur n Feather: This will be run on last year's rules. So will have to take the names and days that people want to fish. Alan has a meeting with J. Miller (Peels H/S) about the container's as this will hinder the " Cripple" pegs.

3, Next Year's Fur n Feather Will be on November 15/16 H/W 7-4, 17-06 Sat. H/W 7-4 18-20 Sun.

Meeting Closed 10-05.

So Guys what do you think? Alan done a really Good Job putting Our Case forward to Mr Clark (WELL DONE ALAN) So if you want to renew your Pass I will Have to get the Name's and Pass Number's in Before the Middle of November so they can be Processed and given out for next year
I will also take the names for anyone who wants to fish the Fur n Feather and what day you want to fish, Polsaf have put £200 into the kitty (£100 each day) Price is £7

Cheer's Tony.

Yes Ste, its Not rocket science, you just have look to see how manipulative they are being. They wont tell Polsaf WHO put the price up to £20? they keep switching from one office to another, for such a well organized company the left hand dos'ent know what the right hand is doing. Alan (Polsaf chair) is doing a great job, he has put our case to them but for some reason they don't listen. If you go on to their site and look at the Maine Plan (you have to go down to page 104-5?) before angler's are mentioned, even then its just 1 sentence (but it makes them look good!! just my opinion) Polsaf is trying to get the pass changed to a Fishing Pass Only and yes this will restrict us to those area's only. I'm not bragging but i've been fishing the the dock's since the early 70's when I had a bicycle and the Police officer just waved you through and told you to be careful, the same when you went throw the old Gladstone Dock Gate down to the "rocks"

The question is Tony, are they trying to get rid of Sea Anglers on the Docks by either pricing them out or imposing as many difficulties/access problems as possible so anglers get fed up?
I personally have had a dock pass for over twenty years but am loathe to commit to a 100% price increase after previous years increases.
We are only fishing and now cannot fish the "new" dock therefore security should not be an issue and do we really need the ISPS pass when we do not enter "sensitive" areas surely an identity pass should be sufficient.
Keep up the good work.

Hi Guys, sorry for putting this up late:oops: but having probs with this thing:evil: Will start taking name's for next years Dock Pass at to-nights meeting. Polsaf know anglers are not happy about the price increase but we are still in talks with THEM!! and if THEY agree with US, YOU WILL get a refund from Polsaf. So come on Lads DON'T let THEM walk OVER US after ALL it is OUR RIGHT to Fish there.
