Went fishing on wednesday night high water 2100 hrs not expecting much after all the reports great weather very still myself phil les and jay and two new members vinny and sam after about 20 minutes got a cracking bite phil was reeling in thought it was his line crossing mine picked the rod up new it was a cod reeled it in slowly got it to the wall couldnt lift it but first time in my life i brought a drop net managed after seemed ages managed to land it not massive i recon about 6 to 7 pounds the lads recon about 4 half to 5 half no scales who cares i was made up we all caught whiting i got a 41 cm one good size fish There was a fox hanging about most of the night only a few yards away the lads were feeding the whiting to it
ps les didnt feed the fox he blanked sorry mate
