the mersey today 8-12

locked out this morning at around 6-30 4 on board, left the lock and sailed into a flat calm mersey when the sun came up we had blue skies it was a really nice day, we had our first cod after half an hour followed by another 14, smallest was around three and half pounds biggest was eight and half with a splattering of five and half pounders, we also had some big whiting and 4 flounder 2 of which where specimen size great day had by all four of us its the first time we have had to use a trolley to get our fish from the boat to the car

Pete corker had a double in the comp at Otterspool today 83cm, pig of a fish . On a size 6 tiny bit of black and 2maddies. Stick you 5/0pennels up yourAr@e! George's Smith had a seven , again fishing small and neat.

Well done Dave , Ronnie and crew, cracking day . Wind got up this afternoon though!

i agree steve it got a bit windy started about 3 ish but no large waves still fishable but did get cold

12 pound 2 the Otterspool fish . Another of 7 and a few 2 pounders
